Awards/Reviews
96 Winestate Magazine- “A brightness of plums, cherries and sweet spices lift off the nose. The palate is fresh and fairly sweet with some tannic grip and nice long lingering feeling.”
94 Wine Orbit-“This is instantly appealing on the nose, showing dark berry richness, potpourri, warm spice and vanilla characters. Its equally satisfying in the mouth, displaying excellent weight and succulent fruit intensity, wonderfully complemented by fleshy texture with a sustained, velvety finish.”- Sam Kim January 2024
93 Australian Wine Showcase
92 Wine Orbit – “Upfront and fabulously expressed, the bouquet shows mixed berry compote, cocoa, warm spice and hazelnut aromas, leading to a succulent palate offering plump mouthfeel and subtle sweetness. Generously textured and lingering with delectable flavours.” – Sam Kim May 2021
92 The Real Review – “Deep ruby red with a hint of bead showing. Ripe mulberry and dark chocolate aromatics. A big and bold sparkling shiraz with ample ripe fruit weight that is lifted by some sweet oak spices and a fine mousse. Good length and it offers a silky finish that is neither too dry nor too sweet.” – Stuart Knox
90 Wine Pilot – “Foaming purple in colour, these might be a niche style but they really deserve a wider audience. Liquorice, chocolate, violets, aniseed, all contribute to a charming plushness. The wine is medium length and there is some sweetness, which is in line with the style, but well balanced with the acidity. The palate moves more to plum pudding and cassis notes. Lots to love here. Drink now – why wait?” – Ken Gargett October 2022
