95 Wine Showcase Magazine
94 Wine Pilot – “An opaque magenta in colour, there is real concentration here. Black fruits, cassis notes, chocolate, dry herbs, leather, bay leaves and mulberries. Wonderful palate with saturated flavours. Dense, yet balanced, and even rather elegant in its own way, there is great focus here. Fine tannins and a long, lingering finish. This will easily give you a good ten years in the cellar. Like this a lot.” – Ken Garrget October 2022
94 Wine Orbit – “This is immediately appealing on the nose showing blackberry, mixed spice, olive and cedar aromas, leading to a concentrated palate delivering terrific fruit intensity with velvety texture and fine grainy tannins. Wonderfully composed and structured with a persistent satisfying finish.” – Sam Kim June 2022
93 Australian International Wine Show
92 Halliday – “Solid rounds of plum essence and orange oil flavour come dressed in classy cedar and vanilla oak. The extra sauce here is attractive woodsmoke-like characters, likely from that same oak. It’s fruity and flowing but has some extra grunt. It’s not subtle but it works.” – Campbell Mattinson November 2022
